Create Three Tier architecture with UI, BAL and DAL in ASP.Net

Hi,

I have an ASP.NET application developed in 3 tier architecture(UI,BAL and DAL). in Data Layer we are using common functions for SQL dataconnections, commands and query using ADO.NET. 

How do i apply design pattern in my current architecture and which pattern to choose?
