I read about signal R its a great api for real time applications. I am trying to implement push notification service to my users when I update or make changes for a particular user account, that user should get a notification like facebook i.e notification count on clicking it should expand and show the notification.

I have searched this but I only get references of push notification with MVC but I have developed my application on Asp.net using website template. Please help me getting out of this.
