Created a thread in master page and have called email function to select mails which are not sent from databse.Mails are going but the problem is whenever a user clicks mails are going multiple times. Could anyone help me by calling function for every 5 minutes.

Is it possible to create a new thread and emails which are not assigned to any thread wn ever a new user access the application.

You cannot use a thread you will need to use Windows Service that will send emails in background

In shared hosting, windows service can't be installed.So looking for alternatives.

No. Else you need to buy service from some websites that will do the scheduling for you from their service.
