How to rewrite URL in ASP.Net in a simple way

i have url  in my website :

http://localhost:49552/test/item.aspx?item=cartid1

but i want show  it in address bar lie this

http://localhost:49552/test/item/

i searched the net and read many article they all have confused me with many mehod , i want to know the simplest method ,, becuase  i have to  implement it in only 3-4  pages
