I refer to the following url to try the jQuery to call ASP.Net Webmethod. I open the new project with visual studio 2017 IDE.

It works after choosing the "Empty" Project in the ASP.Net 4.5.2 template window. 

But after choosing the "web form" project in the ASP.Net 4.5.2 template window, the jQuery doesn't trigger the webmethod.

I spend a lot of time to check everything, but it still failed. 

I would appreciate it if you have any advice for me
