How can i disable windows login username and password on click

I have a link on master page that contain excel file.

When i click on link out side from server it is asking windows username and password.

I am using local system on application pool identity.

is it causing a problem ?

if so what is solution for it ?

Seems like you have set Authentication mode to Windows in Web.Config. Change it to Forms or None if that site is publicly accessibble
