Sir,
I have never used update panel before in any of my project.
As you have suggest to create a new page, and try UpdatePanel Control on that...
I have made new page and placed a label and a button in UpdatePanel control. Then
on button click event displayed the current date and time on label.
means will update label with current date time on every click...... but it still refreshing the page.....
below is my HTML & .vb code
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" >
<head runat="server">
<title>Untitled Page</title>
</head>
<body>
<form id="form1" runat="server">
<div>
<asp:ScriptManager id="ScriptManager1" runat="server">
