Which is best for Bulk Insert DataTable or IEnumerable in C#

I have created a stored procedure with muti value parameter as we will be receiving more records in a single insertWhile invoking the stored procedure from mvc controller please advise whether data table should be used or IEnumerable should be used

Hi tsakumar81Both IEnumerable and DataTable are used for handling large amount of dataBut using IEnumerable is more prefferable as you dont have to convert data into the DataTable It can be used directlyIEnumerable is much lighwieght than DataTableDataTable increases load on processor and time complexity also increases as more time is used to create them and bind data to itBut again its upto the requirement for each caseUsing DataTable you can insert data in Bulk with only one single call to the database without passing multiple paramaters
