Convert Image To ByteArray and display in webpage in ASP.Net

goplaa says:

 Replace the above with the below code.

byte[] bytes = (byte[])reader["Data"];
string base64String = Convert.ToBase64String(bytes, 0, bytes.Length);
Image1.ImageUrl = "data:image/png;base64," + base64String;

What should I do if nothing happens when I select the .pdf files from DropDownList menu.  What should I put in the ImageUrl tag in html?

    <asp:Image ID="Image1" runat="server" ImageUrl="" />

When I compile and run this code nothing happens and with no OUTPUT?  Nothing happens and doesn't gives any error message?

This code below produces only a empty image tag when it runs?

Why can't I see the .pdf file. Or should I need something other than

ImageUrl to show the .pdf file.  I want to show the .pdf in image tag or ImageUrl for OUTPUT? Just a hint that I have the binary data in the Database for .pdf file which is converted into bytes down below in code.

Should Convert option of base64 will help me show the .pdf file in 

ImageUrl? Please help?

It should be like below.

i.ImageUrl = "data:image/png;base64," + base64String;
