[Solved] SQl Server Error: The number of values in the VALUES clause must match the number of columns specified in the INSERT statement

Specified Datetime column in the Insert Query. As you are passing two column in insert but passing three values as parameter. Therefore,You are getting an error

so what i need to do?

I did change the create to 1 column and same error

create PROCEDURE [dbo].[Insert_States]

     @StateName nvarchar(MAX)
     
     AS
       BEGIN
      SET NOCOUNT ON;
      IF EXISTS(SELECT StateId FROM States WHERE StateName = @StateName)
      BEGIN

            INSERT INTO States

            )
            VALUES

            @StateName,
             
            GETDATE())
             
            SELECT SCOPE_IDENTITY() -- StateId                     
     END
END

 Remove GETDATE() also then you get the output
