How to get integar value throuth tempdata in another function in mvc

TempData["userid"] = News.UserID;

other actionmethod

public ActionResult Edit(tbl_News News)
{
    News.UserID=how to get tempdata userid value???;
}

i need tempdata value in controller side to send to database.

Hi mukesh1,

To get the TempData value in another ActionResult use the below code.

public ActionResult Edit(tbl_News News)
{
    if (TempData["userid"] != null)
    {
        News.UserID = (int)TempData["userid"];
    }   
    return View();
}
