Currently i have a main .aspx with a button & on its click event i get the connection string from web.config and move on to next page

What i need is in the main page i need to populate all the db of a particular server in a DropDownList

The user will first select the db from DropDownList & click the button & with the db name from DropDownList connection string should be formed
