How to Split a string Value in Sql Server 2005

hi

i have a column Due_Date ,

only day and month are stored in this column like d/m

For ex:

Due_Date

15/5

1/5

Now i need to Split This Value ,

i need day Separately and Month Separately.

Please tell me how i can Split This Value on the basis of  /
