Convert text to speech and play it in ASP.Net

Hi iam trying to make website in asp.net webforms in which i have to displayed some text.upon user button click the text is converted to speech and played on the page . i have tried the speech.lib but the sound plays on the server not on the client. side . how can this done without using flash silver light .do i have to use the web methods or web services.
