Hide Download folder location when downloading files in ASP.Net

You will have to set the permission for that directory in IIS

Dear Mudassar

I have tried as you suggest

with this now it not possibleto download files or view files from url

but i am facing one problem

now as my folder and files are protected i am not possible to create,read,write files in it programatically...

I want to secure only through url

In iis i did as following in IIS

right click folder > properties > in directory tab i check redirection to url

There is only one thing you can do

 Stop Access or Give Access.

If you don't want the user to see the file url allow them to download through code

if i stop access by settings in iis then i am not able to create dynamic folers and files programatically in same folder..which i want to do

So do the way I suggested in my last reply i.e. download from code
