I have a report with headings:

Name    Address    City   State   Zip   DOB   Date of Visit   Time of Visit

The first page of my report also has a title before the headings.  Only the first page has this title:

Visit Log by Date Range

Visit Type:  Parent

Date:  From 4/30/2012 to 5/31/2012

I managed to get this "title" on the first page, however, it throws off the number of lines in my report.  Now the second page has about four or five lines on it with headings and then it prints a full page on page three.  Hope this makes more sense.  Thank you, again, for any help you can provide.

You can put the GridView inside a Panel control.

Just above the GridView add the Title using Label

And then print the Panel instead of GridView by replacing

GridView1.RenderControl(hw);

with

Panel1.RenderControl(hw);

That wasn't quite what I needed, but it's also good to know, so thank you for that.

I figured out my problem was to remove the section where it was counting the page lines and that resolved my issue.
