I have some concerns about ajax call, following is the ajax code

I want to pass a text box value to Upload.ashx by something like
'script': 'Upload.ashx?qnme="document.getElementById("<%=TXTqno.ClientID%>").value"',
I have been tried this way, unfortunately it's not working. I think must append the text box value to ajax call, but I really don't know how can I achive this goal, I hope some of the buddies can help me with their good experience on ajax. all the helps are appreciable.
