GridView with fixed header - columns does not line up

Hi

I downloaded and tried Mudassar Ahmed Khan's JQuery to make a GridView with a fixed header inside an UpdatePanel (http://www.aspsnippets.com/Articles/Scrollable-GridView-with-Fixed-Headers-inside-ASPNet-UpdatePanel-using-jQuery-Plugin.aspx).

The header is nicely fixed, but the column headers does not line up with the data columns. Can anyone help me with this?

PS: I posted this question on the site in the link, and got an email saying that it had been answered, but I could not find the answer anywhere, so I thought I would post the question again here.
