SQL Server: Problem with LIKE and Percentage (%) character

Hi, I want to write a SP using like so that if the user doesnt remembers the complete name he can type alphabets and get the results below is my SP which achieves this but If I enter % in the search fields all the records are seen which I do not want this,please show any other way to achieve this.I know that I can restrict the % symbol in the front end using validator but still want to know the solution to this.
